HAHAHAHA--We could not believe the noises our youngest made. A lot of times she sounded like an old-style coffee percolater. Where other babies cried, she would say "eh, eh, eh!" Like a Yugo trying to start.
And don't even get me started on the wierd little movements and facial ticks.
Daisy's not a mutant. She's just a little watery creature acclimatizing. :)
Oh, I laugh too--Adele made the STRANGEST noises--starting around 3 am. Grunting, squealing, hmmphing, creaking--her daddy wrote a whole poem about in the wee hours while we were nursing her. It disturbed me for months. I was sure there was something wrong with her.
I am glad to hear it's not freakishly abnormal. I was starting to worry. There is no lack of things to worry about, so I am glad to cross one thing off my list! Now I can focus on the voluminous amounts of spit-up that she emits, and on the fact that she doesn't seem to need sleep anymore.
