Daisy is playing pretend with her Colorforms, and one of them just said sternly to the other, "If you won’t eat your dinner, I will have to take it away and give you dessert first."

Daisy's great-great-great grandfather, Sylvester "Vet" Streeter Strickland, always ate his dessert first. If you offered it to him at the end of the meal, he would refuse it.
I remember Vet as an entertaining ancient guy, a fiddler, iron-monger, union organizer, etc., with card tricks.
