Just think of the forthcoming excitement when he and Kerouac are released together into an entirely new environment! You may want to get some body armor....
Thank you, Deb! I am proud of my sons :-) Bill, our plan is to release Kerouac into the new place first, tonight, and let him territorialize it first... then Claude will arrive on Thurs. Otherwise, if they are released together, madness ensues.
Poor Kerouac will have to stay there by himself tonight :-( It makes me sad, but there's nothing else to do. Hopefully it will give him a chance to explore and rub his scent all over the place before Claude "The Alpha" arrives. Of course, he may also just hole up in a corner and not move for 24 hours--which is what he did one time when we moved. Poor little guy!! I will visit him as often as I can.
I'm betting Kerouac invites a group of cats over for an all-night poker and catnip party. You'll find him sprawled under a lampshade the next morning, reeking of Tender Vittles...

Okay, I have to comment on my own post... we really did dust, occasionally. Just, apparently, never between those two particular book cases.
I didn't even notice, your cats captured my attention so much--however, is it dust, or is it cat hair?
You are sweet, Melissa! :-)
Yeah. I think it's cat hair. You can also see some bits of cat litter in there.
How adorable!

Is one of you staying overnight with Kerouac, or is he going to be exploring on his own? Just wondering how these things work...
