Measures of Tired

This morning I:

a) squeezed sunscreen lotion onto my toothbrush instead of toothpaste, for the second time since Daisy's birth, and

b) poured cat kibble into my cereal bowl, though thankfully realized the error before I partook.

PS
Blogspot still isn't letting me post photos. I have written to the help team to report the problem. Urg.

I've put hairgel on my toothbrush before.

And I've had to buy a new toothbrush because I couldn't be sure that I hadn't accidentally switched my toothbrush with the one I use to clean the grout in the shower.

You're sleep-deprived. What's my excuse?

I think we should just stop brushing our teeth altogether. And if you also took me up on my idea and started peeing in your pants, you'd be like a supermodel.

So are the cats having Cheerios for breakfast this morning?

I have had many vile things on my toothbrush when half-asleep in the past (the worst tasting by far was acne cream). The lesson: hide all tubes that are not toothpaste away in the cabinet!

have a good, if sleep-deprived, weekend.

Don't knock the kibble. It has low dietary magnesium and will help keep your coat shiny.

You're definitely not alone in making goofy mistakes. Just last week, I grabbed the wrong bottle and poured juice all over my cereal. And my only distraction was a rude cat meowing in my face. (I think he did it on purpose so I'd leave him the milk--excellent kitty maneuver!)

Can't wait to see Scrunchface...

I love you guys! What goofy friends I have :-)

Katherine, I guess my close call with eating cat food is a suitable follow-up to eating your dog's treat when I was pregnant....

Speaking of nursing, Sarah Silverman recently disagreed with the comment that without big boobs, Pamela Anderson would be nothing. "She'd be Paris Hilton."

Sounds like what you need is a good film noir. I read that several will be coming out soon, a kind of noir revival. "Lower City," a Brazilian noir. "Crank," which sounds like a remake of "DOA." "The Black Dahlia," with Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson (a famous real murder from my youth in L.A.) "The Departed" with Jack Nicholson, Leonardo Di Crappio and Matt Damon. "Zen Noir," a comedy. And "Killshot" with Diane Lane and Mickey Rourke.

On the other hand, the writer might not really grasp what film noir is about.

I love film noir. We have seen "The Black Dahlia"--they are remaking it? (But what about this email made you think of film noir? Just curious :-)
