She is so pretty! How are you doing physically? If you are typing one-handed, I assume you are home. Mark looks awesome in his doctor digs, and Daisy looks like she adores him. I can't wait for your update and I am glad you two are safe and healthy!

Love,
Melissa

Oh. Hee!!!!!!

My heart just cartwheeled a marathon. I had no idea that I could actually smile from ear to ear.

Blowing so many kisses in your direction.

Thanks, everyone!! Thank you thank you thank you :-) I am hard at work on a blog post concerning the experience, but I now understand why people with 4-day-olds are not necessarily the best bloggers :-) Mark says he is going to write some stuff for his blog, too. I also now see why every email I got from Noe said, "Typing one-handed." There is this little interval where the baby is attaching to the left boob where you can type with your right hand, if you are right-handed, as I am. When she was sleeping, I was just too tired to do ANYTHING. But I feel better today and can't wait to write about this massive experience. Yay!

Once again, I am spared having to "make nice" and be merely polite: my friend has had an honestly beautiful baby. I haven't had to lie yet.

Congratulations and blessings.

When Michael saw the photo of Mark with arms above his head in the hospital outfit, he said, "I don't know what's up with that doctor..." or something about a really rockin' doctor...which I guess Mark is.

Love the pix. I'm sure Daisy is even more enthralling in person.

You guys made a person. I've made paper flowers but you've made another PERSON. That's so freaky and cool.

THANK YOU so much for all the wonderful words! I need them, especially now that I am psychotically sleep-deprived :-)

Deb, that comment of Michael's...you just made me laugh so hard, which is very bad for my incision (I had a C-section...need to post about that when I finish what I'm writing). It hurts when I laugh so I have to do my Lamaze breathing whenever I feel laughter coming on. "Breathe through it," as they said to me over and over again at the hospital.

Yes, laughing and c-sections do hurt...it is one of those things no one tells you about...
