Mark tops me yet again

I thought I was pretty crazy for having placed Daisy on the bathroom floor so that I could pee at 4 am, but I'm afraid I have to announce that Mark has topped me. He revealed that he peed with her in the baby bjorn the other day.

I am looking at that baby bjorn in a slightly different light today.

Oh you're just jealous that you didn't think of it first! ;-)

I think I'm going to get myself a baby bjorn, too. I can put, I don't know, carrots in it?

I have never heard of a baby bjorn. I will have to look it up!

Oh--it is just a baby carrier you put on your body! I thought it might be one of those swaddling side things you always see celebrities wearing that looks to me like the baby is going to fall out of it. Now I feel less out of the loop.

Hey, I've done that, too. Also with the baby in the sling, which is a little more tricky than the Baby Bjorn, but better than waking the kid up, believe me.

I knew you and Mark enjoyed film noir, so when I saw that a new batch were coming out, I thought of you.

Yes, I saw the original "Black Dahlia" (Alan Ladd, Veronica Lake and William Bendix --I met Bendix once). The plot had nothing to do with the actual famous 1940s murder case. Great cast.

I do love film noir, you are right. Mark and I used to go to the SF Film Noir festival...sadly, can't do this any longer. Don't think they'd appreciate Daisy in the theatre...although part of me thinks I could keep her quiet for a few hours, or just take her outside if she started fussing.

The "swaddling side thing" -- you mean a sling? Not only do they not fall out, but those slings are even better than the Bjorn. And a backpack is even better than that -- especially when there's housework to do.

Forget theaters; it's all about the Netflix now. Do you have Netflix? We don't cuz I'm not a movie watcher but if you are, it might be nice to look forward to seeing a new movie every week or so. I also have a whole season of Family Guy and Ren and Stimpy if you need half hour pick-me-ups. Not that this has anything to do with Mark or urinating or baby bjorns.

Oh, and movies are great with little babies. They sleep, or they enjoy the pretty lights, or if worse comes to worst, you stand in the aisle and rock them while you watch. (I saw The Two Towers that way.) Be prepared to change diapers in the aisle, though.

Just as long as he didn't pee on the Baby Bjorn.... I always wanted to swaddle my baby to my back.

But wouldn't you know, I'd probably forget she was there, go to the computer for email, and sit on her.

Oh yes, both David and I had to do that. I mean, what else are you going to do with them? You are out and about, they are in the bjorn, you have to pee! Wait until she gets a bit bigger in the bjorn--it gets a bit tricky! I'm glad things are falling into a routine. Enjoy your day with your girl!
