Daisy is putting glasses on her giraffe

because she wants "to make him a little bit safer." He is going to the "animal doctor" and he is "a little bit afraid" (as you may notice, "a little bit" is very big with Daisy lately, as is "maybe" and "probably"--almost every sentence begins this way). But she has equipped him with a "paddle" (a chopstick--which she also calls "ice," for some reason)to help him at the doctor's office. He is either going to paddle to safety, or whomp the doctor with it; I'm not sure which.

Daisy's memory of going to the dentist for her broken tooth is still very much with her. She often tells her stuffed animals to "lie down" and she "files them."
